A great day was had by all particpants on Sunday 12 August 2007. Thank you to all who played, cooked and went behind the bar.

POPS v SA Vets – Sunday, 12 August 2007

On a great spring like day, where the rain stayed away, two teams gathered for the Over 35's clash. Port Old Pirates and the SA Vet teams took to the rugby field at Port. It was a good turn out of players and both sides were at the start, able to field full teams and with Peter Brown officiating the game got underway. Crunching defense, hard running, solid scrummaging was the order of the day. Well at least in our minds and bodies....

After the game, a few quiet beers, some good food and a chance to discuss the game was appreciated by all.

Watch out for the Vet games scheduled next year, come and play and have some fun.
